Mobile Phone Arms Race

Mobile phones are racing with each other in the speed of their processors and software. Those who can, write software which runs twice as fast and use cheaper processors to make more money and be able to lower the price after others catch up, like Apple. Those who can't, sell overpriced hardware which uses too much power to try to deliver enough power to the software which is four times as slow, and people wonder why their expensive device runs out of battery power before they can view a movie on it, like the Windows Mobile devices, but people still pay for what they heard is good on a commercial somewhere. Those who don't make compromises are called Nokia.

The new N97 also has an ARM processor, like the others, only twice as fast as the one in iPhone, and it also has software as fast as iPhone's, and faster. It also has mobile phone functions and a camera so good, Apple and Windows Mobile and Android devices will not catch up because Nokia is doing it for far, far longer then them. For photography lovers who want to have applications run on their mobile phones, the choice for a smartphone is very clear. They only have Nokia to choose from, and the N97 is the best Nokia there is, and the only one that has a keyboard, touchscreen and a 5 megapixel camera.

If you need a Symbian phone to use Symbian S60 applications, there isn't a better one than N97, it is faster than all previous S60 phones and has a touchscreen and keyboard, which others don't have. For every business application which uses Symbian S60 application, the N97 gives you more speed and control than any other Nokia. Only the time saved by using the touchscreen and keyboard will pay it off, and it may give you the edge you need to stay ahead in the world of economic crisis.
